Its got a really sleek and simple interface that doesnt take too long. Audio Hijack is actually 16 years old and already used by thousands of broadcasters, the only difference with this new version is it allows you to broadcast your shows online (just like Nicecast). Many people use it for online radio purposes or for recording and streaming audio, like podcasts, with their fans and followers around the world. Audio Hijacks intuitive audio grid provides a terrific pipeline-style view of exactly how your audio flows, so you can easily understand it. Audio Hijack’s new interface is a lot like playing with Lego. Audio Hijack is a Mac-exclusive app that is really good for voice recording on a Macintosh as well as for streaming live audio. If you want to record audio from a microphone, a website or an application, you can do that and a whole lot more. It looks so simple to use yet can also do many complex and rewarding audio tasks. ![]() Discover live streaming and internet broadcasting, audio adjustments for both mics and apps, and so much more. Audio Hijack in its most basic sense is a way to capture audio from your Mac. I believe this would reduce the latency from your keyboard to your monitors while any lag Zoom has processing the audio (and probably) video would be slightly increased. Audio Hijacks abilities arent limited to recording. Meet Audio Hijack 3, my new favorite audio utility Rogue Amoeba has announced the release of Audio Hijack 3, the successor to the venerable Mac sound utility Audio Hijack Pro. Other great apps like Sound Siphon are BlackHole Audio Loopback Driver, Virtual Audio Cable, Audio Hijack and Loopback. If you use Loopback (and you may also use Audio Hijack for finer-grained control) you can create virtual devices that can be selected from within Zoom (for example) while being monitored through, say, a pair of headphones. ![]()
