![]() It wouldn't be my first choice to put my mother, that's for sure. The reason why it's called Split Rock, it's because when you look out the window there's a cliff staring at you in the face. I don't know where they come up with the prices. The room was tiny, really small, and the price was very, very expensive. It seemed like they had a lot of people that were interacting, so that was good. ![]() When I walked in there, they had a guy singing. The food, the menus, and everything else was good. I thought it was just a little bit overcrowded. I visited this facilityĬharlie I visited Benchmark at Split Rock. They just didn't have much of a property in the front for the residents to enjoy. They gave me a sandwich, a dessert, and bottled water. One thing that they did that I thought was very nice was when I wrapped my tour which was at 10:00 in the morning, they gave me a bag lunch to go. I just didn't like that they only had a twin bed and the bed didn't go up or down like at the other place. The rooms seemed smaller, but they were furnished. If you wanted to bring your family there and cook a meal, you could. They had a nice room that was just a kitchen and it had a stovetop and oven. ![]() They had a room where they could do chair yoga and activities and they could have ceramics or cooking. They offer music, and they had a piano there. They had a bistro and a smaller dining room. ![]() I also felt like it was smaller in size and the views from the room, I didn't think they offered as much as the other place did. I just wasn't crazy about the location of the facility because there were shops and stores in the area and it's behind Outback. Michele Benchmark at Split Rock was fairly new. ![]()
